Job Placement Services and TANF Support
In 2022, the Adell C. White Workforce Center launched the CFEP, a stipend Job Training and Placement program created for the District’s most underserved population.
District Residents aged 18-54 can enroll in the program and receive training and certification to become either a certified IT Assembler or a Licensed Insurance Agent. Once participants complete the program, our team will help you find a new job that requires your new skills.
Trainees receive $12.50 an hour for 2-4 months while participating in the program.
OWLStars are our customers who have completed our Job Readiness Curriculum, the OWL4. This curriculum helps customers become Occupied with Listening, Learning, Leaping, and Leading, all skills that will be essential for their job placement journey.
