Who We Are
The Adell C. White Workforce Center (ACW), a program of The Excalibur Group opened in October 2018.
We work to assist and prepare job seekers in their pursuit of sustainable employment. Through a holistic job placement approach, which includes job readiness assistance education, ACW is bridging the public/private sector gap in collaborative employment solutions.
We are here to help DMV residents find long-lasting and sustainable career opportunities that can have a generational impact on family and community. We provide customers and participants with training, information on job openings, community events, community and networking event, and much more.
When a customer steps through our doors at ACW, we know it’s not just the individual we will be supporting throughout their time here, but the whole family. ACW has based our training, mentorship, and Job Placement Services on the concept that for success to occur, the whole family should be engaged.
ACW was established after The Excalibur Group was awarded a Human Care Agreement with DC’s Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide Job Placement (JP) services to support the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
